Recycle/Upcycle - Simon Monday Challenge

I am absolutely thrilled about this post.
This is my very first project as a DT Member of my dreamy Simon Monday Challenge Blog. This is the post that makes me finally believe it's happening!
I am extremely happy about it and want to thank the Team to have chosen me.
I will do my best to represent them as creatively as I can...
Ok, let's do that!
This challenge is about Recycle/Upcycle things.
Some time ago I thought it would be funny to alter a small tin of sardines.
To be honest, it's one of the smallest projects I've ever done, the thing has only 5x10 cm and it's really cute. I felt like Alice in the Wonderland working on it.

For that project I played with Distress Inks, some embossing and crackle paste.
To give it a little bit of vintage and retro look, I embellished it with a cotton lace.
As a final touch I put some small selfmade flowers inked with yellow distress ink and a Tim Holtz pen nib.

Now it's your turn to share with us your recycled/upcycled projects.
I'm sure you will have so much fun with altering things.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving a $50 voucher to shop at the greatest Simon Says Stamp Store. Don't miss the chance to win it!
